In the press conference Hammock said Ingold (Edge) could contribute year, never heard of a NIU coach making that kind of statement about a lineman. I assume a RB could add something as well, like both backs and they have different styles. I like this WR La'Don Bryant, but I think the WR room is pretty filled with the transfers and returnees.

I don’t see any, if they do it’s likely from the skill position. LB,OL,DL I think we can all agree they need a year of strength and conditioning to really make an impact at this level. I do like ingolds frame he looks like he could add some serious weigh. I did notice he’s listed at 6foot 6 - is that a disadvantage from a DE perspective?

The team next season is a veteran team, so hopefully zero.

Again I ask, has a one and done ever happened here? Or how about anywhere in the country for the non p5 schools? How common is this fear?

No because haven't had a stud freshman walk in and dominate. Therefore transfer portal helps immediately

It was the goofy 2020 season and there was no choice bc of the "Mass Exodus", but the 2020 class had 6 true freshman contribute in a major way. Waylee, Rudolph, Lafayette, Rayner, Thomas, Hansen. Waylee led the team in rushing. Rudolph was second in receptions at wr and 700+ yds kick return, Lafayette was second in tackles, Rayner was 5th and Hansen was 6th while having the team lead in sacks. Thomas was 7th.

Seems pretty accurate to me. Obviously, one never knows how a recruiting class will develop, but, on paper, I am not very impressed with this class.

I’m with you. Nothing jumped off the film they put out on social.

Me as well the film from the JuCO QB looked average at best to me. Kinda a slower release too.

RE: Signing day!
My wife graduated from Kennesaw State. School has really come on, size is 43,000 students. In a few years they will be a non power five power school. They are converting from the military offense so it will take a few years. During Covid they were the driving force in their county, building building!

Basketball team last year took Xavier to the limit and probably should of one. No shame in loosing a recruit to this school, just went into Conference USA so really the same level as NIU, better weather and as a southerner now, better women,....BOOM!!!

RE: Signing day!
Looks like we are announcing more walk-ons. Some of these I think we already knew about.
