This will get Dog Fan to the Spring game. Ole Miss knows how to do it.
Dog Fan, this is for you.. maybe he has been coming to football games.
I’m old and I can’t eat like that any more. Plus, there’s 2 ideas why it won’t work:
1. There’s no way there would ever be that many hot dogs at Huskie Stadium. Athletics would sponsor and announce the contest, and then each participant would have one hot dog on his plate. What the hell kind of “contest” is that?!
2. If I attempted to eat more than two hot dogs slathered with condiments oozing from my buns, I would be unable to control the gaseous explosions emanating from me. People would run as fast as they could out the stadium. And everyone knows we can’t lose any of the minuscule number of fans we have.

I went to an NIU baseball game two years ago and participated in a mini game between innings with a buddy. It was sprint down to first base and back, spin around ten times with a bat, and hit a ball.
Only instead of a bat, it was a vuvuzela. Of which they told us to be careful with and had us return, because their budget only called for the two vuvuzelas.
Man, we are BROKE.

Split -back line-up with Lynch as one of the backs….I have been pushing for this for a couple years. The defense won’t know who’ll be running or passing. They’d have fits. I just wish Ham would use this during a game, but I doubt it. When it comes to conservative play and predictability, Ham leads the pack.

RE: Spring Practice
It's interesting that Justin Lynch played a number of games at QB before he came to NIU and Hammock will put him on the field but not even let him attempt a short pass. So when he's on the field everyone in the county knows who is getting the ball.

Absolutely. This drove me so crazy last year. You’d see Lynch on the field as a RB or in the wildcat, and everyone knew what was coming up. Here you have a RB who can throw the ball. Use him as such to keep the defense guessing. Why make their job so easy? Hammock is stubborn and too conservative. We need to keep the defense off balance and guessing on every play.

Did he not throw a TD pass in the opener last year?

RE: Spring Practice
We should have a strong team overall, but it’s really hard to win the MAC without a top in conference QB, and nearly impossible with below average QB play. The position is such a huge question mark to me.
Ive said my piece on Hamptons performance to date. Hopefully either he takes a major step forward or Macon can be the guy. Don’t want to waste what looks like a strong team on paper.

See what could happen if he’s allowed to pass? Once a season won’t quite do it.

RE: Spring Practice
Justin looks promising when playing a few games for Temple: A creator, a playmaker. The fact that he didn't develop at NIU is a little disconcerting to me. So I'm not hopeful that Hampton had taken a drastic step forward. If Macon can be an effective runner and be safe with the ball, he seems most likely to lead this offense. Just seems to me QBs just don't develop at NIU.

We are a run first culture. So let's just go all in and run the Army offense. Remember Army went toe to toe with St Jordan Lynch.

Yes, we’re run first……and second, third, and fourth. I wouldn’t mind seeing some triple option, but it takes a different talent set and timing; i.e., lots of time and practice to learn the new system. Thus, I wouldn’t look for it. Hammock is a straight-up-the-middle guy for a few yards and then punt. And, when that doesn’t work, let’s keep trying to do the same thing.

Lol, admittedly it makes me miss the six plays in Carey's arsenal. At least we could execute them lol. Was it boring and predictable? Yes. But winning was fun.
