Both sides have a lot of talkers, it's a rivalry. A couple sloppy innings did us in after leading most of the game.

Wow the Cubs win one game and you would have thought they clinched the division, kind of goes to show the desperate times on the north side. Sox still take 2 out of 3 in this series. Not to make excuses but the White Sox were still fatigued from playing 3 games in 27 hours vs the Yankees.

Yeah yeah Cards got whooped but that doesn't change the fact that you lost to the Cubbies today.. the same team that was about as down in the dumps as a team could get losing 6 out of 8.

i saw maybe one mistake on the cubs and that was not sending pagan on the fly to dye in the 6th, even when soriano misplayed a ball no runners were able to advance but 4 errors on the sox, ouch now thats some nasty baseball

on a 2nd note i lost a ton of respect for ozzie guillen today after first swearing 5 times on the mike north morning show cause Mike North was talking about how AJ was frustrated for not being in the lineup for Game one and also how he said Lou Pinella is the worst manager in the league, Ozzie has absolutely no class and is an embarassment to the Chicago Whitesox as well as all of Chicago

Did you hear Mike North and what he said? Right before Ozzie came on the radio he criticized the way he handled lineups and everything else. No Ozzie shouldn't have said what he did, but he had every right to be upset at North. And North came off as a pompous ass by making himself seem like he was an important person. Screw North.

Hopefully this is the start of something for the Cubs. Dempster needs to pitch more like he did today..just attack hitters. Throw strikes. Howry as well.

And yeah, the Cardinals are a bad team, so seeing them lose 14-4 to Detroit isn't too surprising.

Ugh, MacDougal yesterday brought back memories of one Damaso Marte walking the bases loaded against boston in the 2005 ALDS. except there was no El duque to bail us out. Very sloppy baseball on the sox part. That crap they showed us in the 7-8th innings is intolerable
