Looks like Jim Phillips is doing his world-class marketing with Northwestern. Aside from ads all over the print media, NU has ads on radio and TV and sponsors the sports reports twice an hour on WBBM Radio. Now, every day the Sun-Times has big articles on NU football. Their pre-season coverage has vastly eclipsed even that of Notre Dame. That Jim Phillips sure is one world-class marketing preppie!

The Wildcats have stepped up their marketing presence on WSCR as well. Phillips has more deep pockets to tap now than he did at NIU. There still hasn't been much talk about the Wildcat/Illini game in Wrigley Field, that is a marketing bonanza.
