The Bulls roster is filling up nicely
It's been reported that the Bulls made a trade with the Warriors for CJ Watson in exchange for the Bulls second round pick. I don't know too much about the guy other than he scored 40 points in a game last year and he's a pretty decent 3-point shooter. IF the Bulls can stay healthy, I see this team as a 4 or 5 seed in the East, maybe as high as a 3 seed we'll see.
Rose/CJ Watson
Brewer/? (perhaps Watson and Korver will split time at the SG)
Deng/Korver
Boozer/Gibson
Noah/Big Turkish Dude

You sure about that?
Noah - 6'11
Gibson - 6'9
Boozer - 6'9
Asik - 7'0
Deng - 6'9
Johnson - 6'9
Brewer - 6'7
Korver - 6'7
Other than Rose and Watson, everyone on the roster is 6'7 or higher.

Short on size? The only team the Bulls will have a hard time against w/size is the Lakers w/Bynum and Gasol, but every team has their problems with those two. Noah and Boozer are going to be animals on the boards. They both averaged over 10 a game last year.

RE: The Bulls roster is filling up nicely
The phrase used on B and B a lot called basketball hell certainly applies to the Bulls, they are going to be perpetually stuck in that 40 to 50 win range with max playoff advancement to conf semis and possibly conf finals for a long time. They do not have the talent to make a serious championship run, and its hard envisioning that changing anytime soon. That is what makes the NBA unwatchable, well the following does:
1) players do not care if they win or not
2) same teams over and and over and over again deep in the playoffs
3) players too lazy to even attempt to at least look like they are playing defense making every game an all-star-like game

MD, if you hate the NBA so much why do you continue to post in Bulls related threads? You state your opinion that the bulls will never win more than 40-50 games, then tell us that the NBA is unwatchable. I'm sure you're incredibly educated on the NBA and basketball in general. GO MIKE DINUNNO.
Anyway, on the size topic. The bulls lead the NBA in rebounding last year and they added Boozer. They'll be fine, especially in the east. I think they end up as the 3 or 4 seed.

They have Rose, they are past NBA hell. NBA hell is the Kirk Hinrich / Ben Gordon Bulls. Where you're an 8th seed. They also signed all their role players to 3 year contracts so they can add another superstar down the road sometime if one becomes available.
If you are going to refer to something MD, do it correctly at least. And as other people said, the Bulls are anything but short on size.

These are the knocks that have been out there for a while. A long while. They used to be way more true than today, but now people hear others say it and they jump on without even knowing the truth. The NBA has made some changes over the recent years, some really good ones in rules and style. I'm not going to say I like it even remotely as much as I do high school or college basketball, but it is better than it was and not "unwatchable" anymore. In fact, it is damn entertaining. It isn't like a Super Bowl where there is less than 10 minutes of actual playing time in a 5 hour broadcast!! Players do care more, and they don't just play hard the last quarter. They may play harder, but that is the case at any level to an extent. The same teams go over and over - in a sense, yes. Much like the NFL and MLB! Even much like college. DUH!! Thats the way sports works. Players don't play defense? Get a clue. You try to guard some of that offensive talent, first of all. Secondly, they are normally working pretty hard because if they don't play defense, they sit and won't make as much money when they are free agents that way. Watch close, there is more defense now than there used to be.
