Have any of you ever used SouthWest's "Wanna Get Away" fares, and if so, have you encountered any problems with them? They are significantly cheaper than the other fares, so I'd love to be able to take advantage of them. Thanks in advance for your comments!!!

I use them all the time. No problems at all.

They are not good on Fridays and Sundays, the day we need to travel.

Depending on what city you want to travel to (Las Vegas, Philadelphia for example) they have several red eye and early morning flights that you can leave late on Thursday or return early on Monday.

Having travelled for the last year, Southwest and AirTran were the two best airlines for fares. Obviously, the further ahead you book your flight, the better the fare. Southwest also does not charge for bags, whereas every other airline charges $15 minimum for each checked bag.
