I don't know how legit that article is. I watched CTL on CSN today and David Kaplan mentioned that someone close to Calipari asked him about the Bulls coaching job and he said he had zero interest.

Maybe so, but he is a dirty SOB and I wouldn't put it past him.

Calipari is a professional recruiter...nothing else. He would be an awful coach in the NBA.

He HAS been an awful NBA Head coach with a career record of 72 and 112 with the NJ Nets.

Everything I've ever heard/read leads me to believe this guy is a slimeball. I'll take a pass.

And now the AP is reporting that Kentucky and Calipari are already considering restructuring his contract, probably with boosters throwing money at UK to keep that slimeball in Lexington.

The guy makes a complete mockery of the NCAA and its academic standards. Heck, his Kentucky team had an average GPA of 2.03 during the fall semester, and the more amazing thing is you only need a 1.8 at Kentucky to remain eligible (those lofty SEC standards). I can't stand that guy.

Let's be honest: UK and Calipari are a perfect marriage. All Big Blue wants are wins, and the man delivers. They don't care what tactics he uses, and the KNOW the NCAA will flinch first if infractions come to light.
