Never watched BBC, but of the American news outlet, Fox is the only one that isnt so slanted toward the Democratic Party. The whole election of Obama really made me sick in the role that the media played to get him in office. It was "interactive media" determining the outcome of an election. That is not what outlets like MSNBC and CNN should be about, promoting one candidate.

So.. it's OK to be biased towards the GOP, but not the progressives? I mean.. it's fine to say they are all biased completely, which I'd agree they are. But to say Fox news is legitimate but the others is not is just a joke.

I don't see how anyone could call Fox a "credible news source" if you would have actually watched that video.

All of the major news outlets are extremely jaded toward the political party of their favoring. No matter what political party you're affiliated with, you are going to think one outlet is biased, or less creditable in comparison. Big_Man and Robert, you clearly are on the left side of the political aisle, and MD02 is clearly on the right side. Big_Man and Bobby prefer to watch CNN or MSNBC while disliking Fox News, meanwhile MD02 watches Fox News rather than CNN or MSNBC.

Myself personally, I'm more on the middle of the road/right side of the political aisle, but do tend to watch more CNN than Fox News. In my opinion, there are many times when each news outlet puts forth outrageous stores that do nothing but take shots at the opposite political party. Around election times, I really can't handle watching either, due to the fact that their biases are so far out there it isn't even funny.

So the incredibly left leaning BBC is fine but Fox isn't because it lean right - you are such a hypocrite it is amazing!

BTW - most American's don't want to hear WORLD news or else it would be covered. There are thousands of places to go to find it if you want. And by the way there is World news covered all the time THAT IS IMPORTANT.

Do I care that the French are striking again because they have to work ungodly 36 hour weeks - NOPE - that is an example of the great WORLD stories the BBC carries.

Foxnews is the most central news agency on TV. Yes they have the Hannity's of the world but their basic news casts are good. A lot of people think Fox is so far right because the other media groups are so far left that anything closer to the center looks radical.

My issue is that on TV, ABC, MSNBC, CNBC, NBC, CBS, CNN and others are so left leaning with only on (Fox) central or right. From a money standpoint, I am surprised that another station has not tried to cater to the fiscal conservatives.

Fox is an entertainment entity, nothing they produce on that network is "news". They have a shock jock mentality that has been brought to TV, nothing more. They whip their low information viewers up into a frienzy of unguided hate toward no particular goal other than getting attention for themselves.

foxnews is the right wing version to MSNBC. Both are ridiculously biased in their own right (no pun intended).

its that simple. CNN is probably more "centrist" of the "big 3" cable news networks

If you want to learn about Bias read the book Bias - written by a liberal Dem who saw the truth.

There is a TON of bias that you never even see.

Isn't it sad that Americans don't know or care what is going on in the world? I think it goes beck to our arrogance and our ignorance. "We are important and everyone else is worthless". Sad.

Lets say news is a football field. MSNBC is about the 20 yard line to the left of the 50. Fox is about the 20(to be fair) to the right. CNN is about the 40 yard line to the left. There really is no "fair and balanced" news source out there to turn to. Sad but true.

CNN is equally if not more to the left than Fox is to the right. Absolutely no question about that.
