Is a 24 year old a kid??? 25, 26???
These "kids" need to grow up.
Employers are getting screwed having to pick up their share of the premiums as well. This will have employers cutting insurance as well.
all i was saying was what i thought the rules would allow and what they wouldn't allow.
i wasn't debating or stating what the age of a "kid" should be. besides, as a parent i'll always look at my son as my "child" whether he's 2, 12, 22, or 32.
But by coddling them they will never grow up and mature. They have to learn independence. I am not saying not to help your kids but I never expected my parents to help me after I graduated from college. If my kids are in financial trouble, I will help them to the best of my ability but if my kid lives at home, does not budget his life properly(clothing, girl friend, car, cell phone, vacations etc.) then it is not my responsibility to make their life better by carrying them on my insurance. PRIORITIES.
i totally understand this thought process.
