RE: How many parents will allow their kids to be on their health insurance

You're just being an ignorant goon. If they can get health insurance more affordably through you, and you're such a hardass that you refuse to help your child who has no health insurance, have them pay you for it.
So yeah, cancel your $100/month cell phone and put that money towards $500/month health insurance...You know, since $400/month is so affordable when you are paying rent, utilities, car payments, car insurance, gas for your car, food etc. Oh and by the way, good luck trying to get a job without a cell phone.
I am sure your parents are paying for those too. Thanks for bringing up the car. A car is for transportation. When you buy one, get an economical car. You don't need a fancy car. Kids are no longer frugal.
The problem with health care is it is going to cost so much more for hard working people.
What will be cheaper for you is to just pay the fine. If you don't make much, you won't pay much. Then, if you need insurance, a government program subsidized by taxpayers will be available.
